The Architect's House, Late afternoon
TARO064
Oil on Canvas
120 x 150 cm
It is not often they see the Architect, but they gather in hope that the elusive figure might appear - these are his parties after all. Many people have stories of him; that he is ten-foot tall, that he wears a lime green turban decorated with leaves from an exotic plant, that he is not a he at all. The grand house he created for himself soon after the completion of his masterpiece; City Infinite X, sits high on a secluded hillside with an unobstructed view of Taro Mountain. Increasingly, the visitors that congregate in the room with the big glass windows, invited on some opaque pretence, come more for the views than the man. Though each one holds out a hope that they might be the one to catch a glimpse.
