'The Land of Tarogramma' Book

First published in the late nineteenth century, ‘The Land of Tarogramma’ detailed the anonymous author’s discovery of a hidden land they named Tarogramma. (Which some believe is an anagram of the authors name). Though it was immediately dismissed by experts it caused a flurry of excitement amongst the public. But, as the author remained stubbornly anonymous to their death, no more information could ever be gleaned. The book has never gone out of print. This 1950’s paperback is perhaps the most widely read version.
